THE SHORT VERSION
We built this because our eyes hurt and nobody could tell us why
Not a mission statement. Just what actually happened.
WHERE IT STARTED
We kept blaming sleep
For months it felt like waking up tired, even after a full night. Eyes dry, a little gritty, sometimes stinging by mid afternoon. We blamed screens, blamed late nights, blamed everything except the room itself. Turns out the AC vent above the desk and the fan running all day were doing most of the damage, and we only figured that out after talking to over 30 people who described the exact same thing.
WHAT WE TRIED FIRST
Drops work for about ten minutes
Artificial tears, blinking exercises, blue light glasses, all the usual advice. Some of it helped for a few minutes. None of it lasted. The reason is simple once you see it: dry indoor air pulls moisture off the eye faster than a few drops can replace it. You're not failing to treat the problem, you're just fighting a leak with a cup instead of patching the hole.
THE ACTUAL FIX
Seal the air out instead of adding moisture back in
Adapt Dew uses a soft gasket around the lens that holds a thin layer of humidity against your eyes, so the moisture you already have stays put instead of evaporating into dry air. No drops to reapply, no routine to remember. You put them on and the problem you've been fighting all day just stops happening.
RIGHT NOW
Small, honest, one product
We're not a big team and we're not pretending to be. Right now it's one product, built to actually solve the thing we kept dealing with ourselves. No manufactured milestones, no fake urgency. Just something that worked for us and, based on what customers keep telling us, works for them too.
